Terms of Service
Last updated: 17 October 2026
1. Who we are
Wolkra ("Wolkra", "we", "us") is a cloud infrastructure provider run by a team of about 20 people. You can reach us through a support ticket in the console or at [email protected].
2. Scope
These terms cover your use of the Wolkra console, API, command-line tools and the cloud resources you create through them (together, "the services"). They apply to individuals and to companies. By creating an account you agree to these terms, the Acceptable Use Policy and the Privacy Policy.
If you accept these terms on behalf of a company or other organization, you confirm that you are authorized to do so; "you" then means that organization.
3. Your account
- Keep your account information accurate and your login details and API tokens private. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account and its tokens. Use two-factor authentication where you can.
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract.
- We may ask you to verify your identity or payment method before you can use the services or raise your limits.
- An organization can have several members with different roles. The owners of an organization are responsible for who they give access to.
4. The services
We provide the virtual servers, storage, networking and related services described in the documentation. We work to keep them available and to fix problems quickly, and we publish incidents on the status page. We aim for high availability but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, we do not offer a service level agreement or service credits.
The services can be interrupted by maintenance, by hardware or network failures, or by attacks on our or third parties' infrastructure. We announce planned maintenance in advance where we can; urgent security fixes may be applied without notice.
Features may change or be retired. We give reasonable notice before retiring a feature you use, unless security or legal requirements prevent it.
5. Prices and payment
- Prices are listed on the pricing page and in the API, in euros. The price shown is the amount charged.
- The services are prepaid. You add funds to a balance by card or with cryptocurrency (USDT or TRX on the TRON network); usage is charged hourly from it and is capped at each resource's monthly price, as described in Billing. The balance is always kept in euros.
- A card processing fee, if one applies, is shown before you pay. Crypto top-ups have no fee.
- Crypto top-ups: the console shows the exact token amount and the exchange rate, which is locked for 60 minutes. A crypto payment is credited automatically only if the exact amount shown is sent in the selected coin, on the TRON network, within those 60 minutes. A payment that does not match is not credited automatically; contact support with the transaction hash. See Pay with crypto.
- A new resource can only be created while your balance covers at least one hour of all your resources.
- Refunds: a top-up is refunded on request only if none of it has been used. Once any part of a top-up has been spent, the remaining balance stays on your account as credit for future usage and is not paid out.
- Crypto top-ups are non-refundable. They cannot be paid back to a wallet; the credit stays on your account for future usage and is not paid out.
- Price changes apply to resources created after the change. We announce price changes at least 30 days in advance.
6. Low balance, suspension and deletion
We warn you by email when your balance runs low and when it is used up. If it stays at or below zero for 24 hours, we suspend your organization: servers are powered off and new resources cannot be created. Three days before the end of the suspension period we send a final notice. If the balance is still not positive 14 days after the suspension, we delete all billable resources of the organization and their data. Deleted data cannot be recovered. Topping up before then lifts the suspension; servers stay powered off until you start them.
We may also suspend services, with notice where possible, if you breach these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, if a payment is disputed or reversed, or to protect the services or other customers.
7. Your content and data
- You keep all rights to the data you store on the services. You give us only the rights we need to store and process it in order to provide the services.
- You are the sole administrator of your servers. You are responsible for the software you run and its licences, for installing security updates, and for securing your servers, accounts and keys. We have no access to the inside of your servers and do not monitor or maintain the software on them.
8. Backups and data loss
- You alone are responsible for backing up your data. Back up everything you need regularly, and keep at least one current copy outside Wolkra, so that you can restore it yourself if a server, volume, snapshot or backup is lost or damaged, or if your account is suspended.
- Snapshots and the backup option are tools that make recovery easier. They are not a substitute for your own backups and we do not guarantee that a snapshot or backup is complete, consistent or can be restored. In particular: they are stored in the same location as your server; they are copies of a running disk, so data held in memory or being written at that moment (for example by a database) may be missing or inconsistent; they do not include attached volumes; and backups are deleted when you turn them off or delete the server, as described in Snapshots and backups.
- We do not check the integrity of your data, snapshots or backups, and we are not obliged to restore data for you. If data is lost, restoring it from your own backups is your task and at your cost.
- Data of resources that you delete, or that are deleted under section 6, is deleted permanently and cannot be recovered.
9. Limits
Organizations have limits on the number and size of resources. You can ask for higher limits in the console; we decide on such requests based on your account history and available capacity.
10. Liability
- Except as expressly stated in these terms, the services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, loss of profits, revenue, business or goodwill, business interruption, or loss or corruption of data, however caused.
- Where liability for loss of data cannot be excluded, it is limited to the effort that would have been needed to restore the data from regular, current backups made by you under section 8.
- Our total liability for all claims arising out of or in connection with an event is limited to the amount you paid us for the affected service in the calendar month before that event.
- We are not liable for interruptions or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, power or network failures outside our data centre, failures of suppliers, attacks on our or third parties' infrastructure, acts of government, war or strikes.
- These limits do not apply to liability for intent or fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or to any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by applicable law.
11. Your responsibility towards us
You are responsible for the content you store and the use you make of the services. If a third party makes a claim against us because of your content, your use of the services or your breach of these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, you will hold us harmless and reimburse our reasonable costs, including legal costs, unless you are not at fault.
12. Termination
You can close your account in the console at any time after deleting your resources and settling any negative balance. We can end these terms with 30 days' notice, or immediately for serious or repeated breaches of these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy.
13. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. We tell you about material changes at least 30 days before they take effect, by email or in the console. If you keep using the services after that date, the new terms apply; if you don't agree, you can close your account before then.
14. Contact
Questions about these terms: [email protected] or a support ticket in the console.
