One-click apps for your cloud server
Updated
Wolkra one-click apps are ordinary cloud servers in Frankfurt that boot with a popular open-source application already installed and set up, so you skip the install and start using the software within minutes.
You still get a full KVM virtual machine with root access, an IPv6 address, unmetered traffic and hourly billing. The app is simply the starting point.
The apps
| App | What you get | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| Docker | Docker CE with the Compose plugin | Running containers and Compose stacks |
| WordPress | WordPress with Caddy, PHP, MariaDB and WP-CLI | Blogs, company sites, shops |
| n8n | The n8n workflow automation tool | Automations, integrations, AI workflows |
| Coolify | Coolify, a self-hosted platform for deploying apps | Your own Heroku-style deploy platform |
| WireGuard | A WireGuard VPN server | A private VPN with an exit in Germany |
| GitLab | GitLab CE (Community Edition) | Git hosting, CI/CD, issue tracking |
| OpenClaw | OpenClaw, an AI agent gateway | Running and connecting AI agents |
Every app on this list is open source. You pick it when you create a server in the console, next to the plain operating systems.
How a one-click app server is built
When you choose an app, Wolkra creates a cloud server from a standard Linux image and runs the app's installation automatically during the first boot. That means:
- The server boots first. You can open the browser console or connect with SSH right away.
- The app follows a few minutes later. Installation runs in the background. Large apps such as GitLab take longer than small ones such as WireGuard.
- Nothing is hidden. The software is installed in the usual places for that project, so the project's own documentation applies to your server.
Because the server is a normal KVM machine, you can install more software next to the app, change its configuration, add a block storage volume for data, or put it behind a load balancer.
Choosing a plan
Most apps run well on a small Standard plan. Heavier software needs more memory.
- Docker, WireGuard, WordPress, n8n, OpenClaw: start with a small Standard (s) plan and resize when you need to.
- Coolify: give it a bit more room, because it builds and runs your apps on the same server.
- GitLab: pick a plan with at least 4 GB of memory. Memory-optimised (m) plans fit well.
Standard
Shared vCPU for websites, apps, VPNs and development.
| Plan | vCPU | RAM | Disk | Traffic | Hourly | Monthly cap |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| S0 | 1 | 1 GB | 15 GB | Unmetered | €0.0056 | €3.49 |
| S1 | 1 | 2 GB | 30 GB | Unmetered | €0.0080 | €4.99 |
| S2 | 2 | 4 GB | 40 GB | Unmetered | €0.0144 | €8.99 |
| S3 | 2 | 8 GB | 50 GB | Unmetered | €0.0200 | €12.49 |
| S4 | 4 | 8 GB | 80 GB | Unmetered | €0.0288 | €17.99 |
| S5 | 4 | 16 GB | 100 GB | Unmetered | €0.0400 | €24.99 |
You can resize to a bigger plan later. The disk can grow but never shrink, so start small and move up.
What every app server includes
- Unmetered traffic with fair use, on ports of up to 10 Gbit/s, shared. No per-GB fees. See network.
- Hourly billing from a prepaid balance, capped at the monthly price. Delete a test server after an hour and pay for one hour. See hourly billing.
- Free stateful firewalls that you attach to servers or labels. See firewalls.
- Optional daily backups for 20% of the server price, plus on-demand snapshots.
- Data in Germany. Every server runs in our Frankfurt data center. See Frankfurt.
Securing an app after launch
A fresh app is reachable from the internet as soon as it is ready. A few steps make it safer:
- Use SSH keys instead of a password. Our SSH keys guide shows how.
- Attach a firewall that only opens the ports the app needs, such as 22, 80 and 443.
- Point a domain at the server so the app can use HTTPS.
- Turn on backups or take a snapshot before big changes.
- Keep the operating system and the app up to date.

Automating app servers
Wolkra has a REST API with project-scoped tokens for creating and managing servers from your own scripts. You can pass cloud-init user data for extra setup and tag servers with labels so firewalls and load balancers find them. The Composer lets you draw a whole stack, including app servers, networks and a load balancer, and shows the monthly cost before you apply it.
Start an app
Create an account, add balance by card or crypto, and pick an app when you create your first server. Sign up at console.wolkra.com and have your app running in a few minutes.
Frequently asked questions
Which one-click apps does Wolkra offer?
Docker CE with Compose, WordPress (with Caddy, PHP, MariaDB and WP-CLI), n8n, Coolify, WireGuard VPN, GitLab CE and OpenClaw, an AI agent gateway.
Do one-click apps cost extra?
No. You pay only for the server, its IPv4 address and any extras such as backups or volumes. The app itself adds nothing to the bill.
How long does it take before the app is ready?
The app is ready a few minutes after the server boots. The server itself is running before that, so you can connect with SSH while the installation finishes.
Do I get root access on a one-click app server?
Yes. A one-click app is a normal KVM cloud server with the software already installed, so you have full root access and can change anything.
Can I switch a server to a different app later?
Yes. You can rebuild the server with another image. A rebuild replaces what is on the disk, so take a snapshot first if you want to keep the data.
